Eco Print OS2024 /Textiles/photo

My textile work over the past year has developed from handmade silk paper to eco printing, on fabric and paper.
To create harmony in my work, I collect the foliage locally, gathering inspiration from my walks and my garden.
I love eco printing because you are never quite sure how the image will appear, as there are many technical processes that contribute to the final result.
The wonderful organic shapes of the natural plants create a surface that just requires some beautiful hand or machine embroidery, to give a lovely contemporary feel.
I have combined the fabric into beautiful 2D and 3D works of art, making every piece interesting and unique, resulting in unususal gifts.
Demonstrations will be in the mornings on the days I am open.
Please contact me if you are interested in a workshop.
