This year I shall be downstairs at Westridge studios the second weekend in May 11th and 12th 2024 showing a variety of artworks. Nature Drawing & Painting sketches from Life are often turned into Lino Prints. Such emphasis harks back to my observations of birds, wildlife and the animals we live among, including our family Nature rambles with dogs and children which have always been a pastime and obsession since my brothers and I lived a rural country childhood, searching the hedgerows in Hertfordshire. All age groups are welcome to Visit my Retrospective Exhibition, In memory of our Dear mum, our lovely Great Grannie Barbara Patricia Meaker, who set me off on the Creative journey long ago, she and her mum came from a long line of Creative Silk weavers and pottery painters, and taught me How to Knit, Teaching me how to sew and knit dolls clothes firstly and then helping me to Design mine !
We will be downstairs at Westridge Studio, with something for everyone to look at including Refreshments.
I will also be showing Original Printmaking, often made after our Dog walks.
