Natasha Thompson

Handmade porcelain and stoneware. The pieces I make are crafted by variety of different methods, throwing, slip casting, coiling and pinching. All designs are inspired by the nature's simple shapes incorporated with a beautiful vibrant seasonal colours and clay texture. I slip cast porcelain range in a small quantities using personally made moulds. After work is bisque fired, using underglaze pencils, I draw unique designs on the surface of the pieces and glazes to achieve a painterly effect.
