I started painting 4 year's ago, having been a Jewellery designer for over 30 years. I use acrylics as I love colour and texture and the freedom they offer. I am on a journey of discovery and experimentation, enjoying the challenge of expressing myself in a new medium. I am delighted to be exhibiting with Bryony who lives next door in the house/studio I used to live in!

The natural world, and especially trees, has always been the primary inspiration for my work. I am new to the world of printmaking since discovering Gelliplates last year and have enjoyed experimenting with different mark making techniques. Everything has come from trial and error. As my confidence has grown, I have started to broaden my subject matter to include buildings, figures and wildlife.
