There's no end to the possibilities of things you can create with clay. I've been hooked on the medium of clay from childhood. More recently I've been teaching others to sculpt and use the potter's wheel. Come and see my ceramic, exotic plants and my bronze and resin animals that have been cast from clay originals. I like the richness of nature and to capture an animal full of life.
Drawing, painting and making things from found objects was a favourite occupation for me as a child, I've mostly created organic shapes such as conkers in ceramics but I've also enjoyed exploring other mediums such as wire, plaster and Paverpol. My work focuses on shape, form and colour and I'm enthusiastic that sculpture is there to be touched. Come and see my work at Diana Pattenden's studio.
