When I'm out drawing nothing ever stays the same. The clouds, the shadows, the colours, the light all change - constantly. We often suffer from a common but perhaps understandable misapprehension that there is only one thing out there in front of us. I try to get hold of something and then work on it until it is both fixed and fluid. Perhaps the beauty is in the balance.
