Landscape Photography

My photography reflects my love of our small and unique island, in particular the wilder regions in the North, where I'm happy to spend days alone trying to interpret nature in all her moods.

The essence of my photography is to get the image right in camera and not manipulate it in the computer.

Hot Pots & Cool Jewels
Transforming raw clay on the potter’s wheel, to a functional, practical and treasured piece of art, is very satisfying. After 40 years of working with clay, I was interested in using glass to express a new creative direction. Using similar techniques as in pottery, I make beads at the torch, and after the glass is annealed, the beads are set in silver to make jewellery. Glass allows me to play with light and colour, to again produce unique items to treasure.
