Isabel, Christine and Kate return to The Chapel at Newtown Road cemetery in 2017 with fresh experimental work in each of their disciplines.
Isabel presents fresh landscape watercolours and printmaking works based on, but transforming, her observational on location sketches. She enjoys teaching watercolours and urban sketching throughout the year.
Browse through her sketchbooks which this year include Brighton, Manchester, Newbury, London, Malaga and Poland.
Isabel takes part in Cover to Cover sketchbook exchange project, on show at West Berkshire Museum.
Having explored colour last year Chris returns to the strong contrasts created in her ceramics by the patina produced from the use of Terra Sigillata, smoke firing and glaze work.
Her work reflects elements of the natural landscape. She is always drawn to majestic stands of trees as well as the geology and geography of the countryside.
Christine runs regular ceramic workshops from her home studio in Newbury, please phone or email for details.

Kate’s work for this year is based around an exploration of the natural environment, experimenting and developing work in oil, linocut and clay. Alongside this she has continued to explore the delights of floral painting in oil.
